Our RAD Approved Dancewear collection includes garments authorised for Royal Academy of Dance classes and graded exams. Each piece meets RAD requirements for correct fit, colour, and style. The collection includes designs from established RAD licensees as well as our own RAD-approved dancewear.

What does my child need for an RAD exam?

For an RAD exam, students must wear the correct RAD-approved uniform for their grade, including an approved leotard, appropriate tights or socks, ballet shoes, and neatly styled hair. No jewellery or warm-up items should be worn.

What colour do I need for my dance school?

Approved RAD colours are shown. Please check with your dance teacher for the exact colour required for exams.

Who decides the uniform colour?

The Royal Academy of Dance sets approved colours for each grade. However, dance teachers or schools may specify one particular colour from the approved range.
